(NCA) Will Close Down The Internet In The Nation On December 7-John Mahama
Mahama has communicated fears that the National Communications Authority (NCA) will close down the web in the nation on December 7 which is scheduled for Ghana’s overall decisions.
As indicated by him, his feelings of trepidation are relied on late activities of the state office in their treatment of media associations in their inclusion of outrages and resistance groups.
Mahama in a meeting with TV XYZ Sunday said his meetings with Kumasi-based Abusua FM a little while prior, was undermined after the recurrence of the station was stuck by the NCA.
“One of the misfortunes of the Akufo-Addo government is the bastardization of state organizations. Furthermore, the NCA has been a model. In my ongoing meeting with Abusua FM, we had promoted the show, at that point on the day, the NCA took their recurrence off so they needed to move to Ultimate FM.
“I’m likewise mindful of what they did to Joy when they planned to communicate that analytical piece on the National Lotteries. Joe Anokye is taking care of the NCA as a political office. I think on the political race day they can close down the web or any of the things tyrants do. I trust we win and stop all that,” he said.
