Dr Serebour Quaicoe, the Director of Electoral Services at the Electoral Commission (EC) has revealed plans by the commission to start polls at exactly 7am across all polling stations in the country.
Throughout the long term, one of the main challenges that have faced the lead of races in Ghana is the late start of polls at different polling stations.
In a selective interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Dr Serebour Quaicoe said they trust the wonder of starting polls late would be diminished in this political decision.
“Our supplication is that the electoral materials have shown up at the supporters early. So we trust that by 6am each preparation will be assembled for the political decision to start at exactly 7am in all the polling stations across the length and broadness of the country,” he added.
“We’re set up to the point that even the main decisions on the seventh of December should be possible today,” he closed.
