The National Democratic Congress (NDC), has chosen to respect its Founder, the late Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings with an exceptional virtual symposium to praise his life and to celebrate his inheritance.
The symposium will occur at the Kama Conference Center at Labone Junction in Accra at night of Monday, the 25th of January.
An assertion endorsed by Mr Kakra Essamuah, the Director of Communication of the NDC, replicated to the Ghana News Agency, said the principle speakers at the symposium were Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, an individual from the NDC Council of Elders and Mrs Aanaa Enin, a previous diplomat and a previous Minister of the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC).
Different speakers incorporate Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, National Chairman of the NDC, Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Leader of NDC Caucus in Parliament; Mr Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, NDC General Secretary and Mr Alban S. K. Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament.
It said the end comments would be conveyed by previous President John Dramani Mahama.
The assertion encouraged all members to agree carefully with Covid-19 conventions.
It noticed that the program would be streamed live on every public organization.
It said the Leadership of the NDC wishes to report for the consideration, everything being equal, supporters and individual kinsmen and ladies that recording past the human remaining parts of our fallen Founder would start at 0900 hours on Monday, 25th January, and proceed until 14 hours around the same time.
The assertion said it would be done carefully as per Covid-19 conventions as the body lies in rest at the Accra International Conference Center.
