What I know in football is that, when a county’s football is nice it attract foreign players. That is how the Ghanaian league is moving up to. For decades, there has been other African nationalities who have applied their trade in the GPL. Former Togolese Goalkeeper Nibombe Wake and Joshua Ochia of Uganda, just to mention a few, are all some of the examples.
Recently Asante Kotoko signed a Brazilian player call Fabio Gama and it was all over the news, just last week Cape Coast mysterious Ebusua dwarfs also signed a Japanese player. All this instances shows how the Ghanaian soccer is potential to foreigners. Now Asante Kotoko is set to sign another Brazilian player to feature in the GPL.
According to a report sighted on Kotoko’s SC official twitter handle, the player is called MICHAEL VINICIUS Silva de Morais and he is going to be the next Brazilian player in their team. Vinicius played for Rio Preto and Fluminense youth team between 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons. In all he has featured for teams such as Fluminense senior side, Cruciuma, Estoril, America Mineiro .He played as a loan player for Cruciuma, Estoril, America Mineirothe clubs.
A statement fom Kotoko Twitter handle reads;
