Yaw Tog, a budding Ghanaian rapper, must be high on fame and blowing his horns after BET named him a “BET Amplified International” artiste for April.
In just two days, his Sore Remix, which featured UK rapper Stormzy, received over a million views on YouTube. It appears that being heralded as the next big thing in Ghanaian music is getting into his head.
The young rapper released a freestyle that drew a lot of criticism for the reasons he chose to rap with a fake British accent.
Being fully aware of the nature of Ghanaians prior to faking his accent, Yaw Tog stated that he does not care about what people think of him.
Yaw Tog also made a bold claim such as Stormzy, Vic Mensa, and others are chasing him for features.
