Elizabeth Amoaa, a lovely Ghanaian woman, has been confirmed to have been born with two wombs, two cervixes, and two vajayjays.
Elizabeth Amoaa was born with uterine malformation, a condition in which the uterus exists as a combined organ when the embryogenetic fusion of the Müllerian ducts fails. As a result, there is a twofold uterus with two separate cervixes, as well as a potentially twofold vagina.
Miss Amoaa, a Women Reproductive Health Advocate, came out for the first time in 2017 to tell her story as a woman born with an uncommon womb anomaly known as uterus didelphys.
Her story made her the first African woman to share her experience, which has been featured in over 100 countries around the world.
