Efia Odo, a Ghanaian social media star and actress, seems to have taken a dig at Ghanaian afrobeats singer Kuami Eugene.
In a recent interview with Zion Felix on the “Uncut Show” about the #FixTheCountry campaign, which is driven in part by the actress, she said that she enjoys good music but not Kuami Eugene’s songs.
Efia Odo compared Gyakie to Kuami Eugene, saying she has come a long way since she makes decent music. She also said that she enjoys the music of Kidi, Gyakie, King Promise, and Kwesi Arthur.
Responding to Kuami Eugene’s comment that Ghanaians do not support Ghana-made products, Efia said that musicians should invest in making good music, and Ghanaians will promote it.
The actress chastised the singer for implying that Ghanaians should repair themselves.
