Laud Anoo Konadu, better known as Dancegod Lloyd, a famous Ghanaian dance coach and choreographer, recently shared his success story in an interview.
In the Ghanaian entertainment industry, dancers are not given the needed recognition. Only a few of them such as Incredible Zigi, Dancegod Lloyd, and Afrobeast, made it into the craft, creating identities for themselves and inspiring others how to do the same.
Dancegod Lloyd revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show that he almost gave up on his purpose due to people’s views of dancers.
He told Andy Dosty that after finishing senior high school, he took a four-year break from school and then began playing football, but that wasn’t his life’s intent.
He had to return to dance at some stage, but he almost gave up after learning that the craft does not pay well.
