#KNUSTDecides: Historical Society of KNUST (HISOK) endorses Prince Amoah Frimpong, Joseph Wiafe for SOCIOSO Presidency

Executives of the Historical Society of KNUST (HISOK) have thrown their support behind the candidature of Joseph Wiafe, and his running mate Prince Amoah Frimpong, as SOCIOSO president and vice president respectively in the upcoming election.

In a communique signed by the HISOK President and copied to they mentioned that the duo were the best candidates for the positions they are seeking considering their track record in student politics and leadership qualities.

“Master Prince Amoah Frimpong is a third year History Student who has contributed a lot to the Historical Society since first year. Having served as the Deputy Academic Board Chairman for Historical Society in the 2019/2020 academic year and Organizing Secretary for Faculty of Social Sciences in the 2020/2021 academic year, coupled with other leadership experience is seen by the Society as competent, selfless and well equipped for the position”, the statement said.

The communique called on all students of the society as well as the general student body to rally behind them

“Hence, we edge all students from the aforementioned society to support Master Joseph Wiafe and Master Prince Amoah Frimpong candidature and vote for them come Monday June 7, 2021 as they are determined to work for the interest of the students”, the statement concluded.
