Loud-mouth American-based Ghanaian government critic, Twene Jonas, has descended heavily on the IGP of Ghana police after a bullion van was attacked by robbers a few days ago.
This comes on the back of several robbery attacks that have been reported across the country. The majority of these attacks were accompanied by the loss of lives. However, the government and police seemed not to be doing anything to beef up security in the country.
The IGP of police angered the public further after he said that every country in the world was dealing with crimes and that the only place without crimes was heaven and since Ghana was no heaven, crimes were going to be here.
However, Twene Jonas has descended on the IGP by stating that Ghana seems to have lost its way when it comes to security. He asked how much it would cost to provide the police personnel with bullet vests. He further descended on the IGP to get up and do his work and quit talking since people were losing their lives.
According to him, all police personnel should be given sidearms as well so that they would be able to react quickly in such situations to protect themselves.
An angry Twene Jonas stated that the only thing that Ghanaian leaders were good at was buying houses in East Legon for their side chicks.
