Ghanaian high-life musician, Kwaw Kese, has asserted that he would like to be the president of Ghana any time soon.
According to the musician, he only wants what is best for the country and believes that the only way that can happen is if he is made president of the country.
In an interview with Rev Erskine on the Mid-morning radio show, the Madtime Entertainment honcho stated that “I only want things to work. I don’t believe in any political parties because they let us down. If I will do anything like that, then I will stand for president and it will be for a good cause to make things work in the country”
He further stated “we have relied on people who have been to schools and have masters and PhDs but still, they come back to steal money from the ordinary people. They steal from the billions of dollars that Ghana borrows to improve our living but nothing is happening. I will try to be a leader who will lead and make sure things happen”
When asked which of the nation’s presidents he would take his leadership cues from to lead the country, Kwaw Kese said he would emulate the rule of the late Former President Jerry John Rawlings
