98% Of Musicians Are Depressed. They Are Going Through A Lot Of Traumas – Kumi Guitar

Ghanaian songwriter and singer, Kumi Guitar has made it known that, Ghanaian entertainers particularly musicians are unhappy people but still finds a way to put on a smile.

While speaking in an interview with Happy FM‘s Showbiz Xtra Show piloted by Doctar Cann, he disclosed that about 98% of musicians are depressed.

He said if artists will be honest, most of them are going through a lot of pains. They go back to their shell thinking after performing on stage.

Kumi Guitar added that, most musicians who think they are making it are not making it.

“We entertain people. At times, we come smiling but we are pained inside. I can tell you that 98% of musicians are depressed. We are going through a lot of traumas but we need to entertain so we smile.”

“Even when you are backstage, you keep thinking. When we are done with our performance on stage, we go back to our shell thinking. If musicians will be truthful, most of them who look like they are making it are not making it”, he added.
