Ghanaian musician, Kweku Darlington born Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington, has widely open a miserable story about his teething troubles he bump into in the early stage of his music career.
He disclose how he came to Accra as a new arrival in pursuit of his dreams due to the pressure of the family making it difficult to achieve his dreams.
“I decided to leave home because my father was under pressure to take care of my other three siblings. So I left Kumasi for Accra despite not knowing anyone in the capital”, he voiced.
He added saying, he one day met a Mallam who decided to take him home and stay with him and looking back at home, he shed no tears in joining him.
“I mostly slept at VIP Circle Station and under the bridges until one day, a Mallam decided to take me home and stay with him. I never shed a tear during this times but I believed it made me strong to pursue my dream”, he stated.
“So I met a music director called Kwame Baah on Facebook. He told me to come home and we discussed how to make my career better.”
“I entered mu first music competition which was Mentor and I started making progress despite my early eviction and Kwame Baah has being pushing my project and luckily for me I got my first hit song”, he added.
