Ghanaian Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has disclose how she became famous after she got featured in the song of a colleague Rev. Prince Nyarko.
Celestine Donkor voiced out some Ewe lines in a song she featured with Rev. Prince Nyarko titled ‘Hena Ne Wadamfo Pa’, which shot the popularity of the sing across the borders of the country.
Rendering to her, featuring in songs of colleagues has also fetched her into the glare of publicity bearing in mind her acceptability in the industry.
Narrating how she got featured, she disclosed that, the man was coming to do his own business and she was hanging around the studio. So as the song was ongoing in the studio, she advised him to infuse some Ewe lines into the song.

“He was coming to the studio to do his own business and I was hanging around the studio. As the song was going on I went to him and said this song will sound really nice in Ewe…let’s try it if it is not nice you can delete it. I went in there and sang. After adding the lines, they couldn’t delete it at the end of the day”, she voiced.
“Destiny forced me into that song because I was not contracted and I was not invited”, she continued.
She disclosed this in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM.
“The song came out and it was all over and by the grace of God, I got a contract to Rev. Prince Nyarko. We traveled to Benin, we traveled to Togo and all over but at the same time I was just backing vocalist. I did a lot of features and at a point, I had to stop”, she added.
