2 Lowlifes Captured

Two lowlifes were yesterday captured by faculty of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit of the Ghana Police Service, for their endeavor to disturb a recreation casting a ballot practice in Ho, yesterday.

 

The SWAT group showed up quickly at the scene in the midst of caution shots when one of the miscreants was attempting to cast a ballot with a phony elector character card and the other was seen diverting the polling booth.

 

The reenactment practice was held during a day’s working visit to the Volta Region by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr James Oppong-Boanuh.

 

Instructions writers later, the IGP cautioned that any individual or gathering whose rowdy character would upset the expected general political decision will endure fast and savage results.

 

Mr Oppong-Boanuh said that the Ghana Police Service was working together vivaciously with other security offices to guarantee that no untoward episodes happened during the races, adding that the military was prepared to help in the territory of quick reaction.

 

He gave the confirmation that there would be sufficient sending of security faculty previously, during and after the races, in the Volta Region and different pieces of the nation.

 

Mr Oppong-Boanuh beseeched the populace to add to the accomplishment of the races by forgoing uncivilized acts.
