Shooters suspected to be hijackers on Saturday, October 31, raged a private center in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital and stole five individuals.

“The hijackers reached me early today at about 6.30 and disclosed to me that this was the 26th opportunity they have come after me without getting me. All we are requesting from you now in the event that you don’t need your staff and others to be murdered is N20m” said Agwadu.

 

“They set a call up with me again at about 12.20pm requesting for a payment of N20m and I have advised them to surrender me to 6pm. They have asked me not to contact the police for anything.” he added.

 

The State Police Commissioner, CP Bola Longe, in a phone discussion with Daily Trust, said he is yet to be informed on the occurrence.
