As we all know, the 2020 Election Petition ended just a few days ago and at the end of it all, the apex court of the land dismissed the case of former President John Mahama saying it was without merit.
Just few hours after the Supreme Court verdict, former President Mahama came out to indicate his disapproval of the supreme court’s decision.
This was not supposed to be news as President Akufo Addo also did same in the 2012 election petition.
However, the difference here is that the former President has failed to congratulate President Akufo Addo after disagreeing with the Supreme Court, something Akufo Addo did when he was in Mahama’s current shoes.
Following this, the general secretary of the NPP, John Boadu, urged former President Mahama to eschew his ego and do the needful “in the collective interest of our nation.”
“It is not too late for Mr. John Mahama to call President Akufo-Addo,” Boadu said.
