Tamale-Based Musician Eyes Parliamentary Seat; Clues Of Contesting To Be MP Soon

Ghanaian musician Macassio born Sherif Abdul Majeed has revealed his willingness to contest as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the future.

He was heard while in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.

“If my people want me to represent them in the future as their Member of Parliament I will surely respond to what they want me to do for them”, he voiced.

The musician made it known that, he will serve and work on behalf of his people if given the opportunity.

“Oh yeah as a Member of Parliament you are representing and working for your people so if there is the need to work for them in that way why not”, he answered a query.

However, he failed to establish which political party he will be representing when queried but said, he prefer being an independent candidate.

“But if I’m choose which political party I will be contesting on their ticket to go to parliament I think that will be difficult maybe I will consider being an independent candidate”.
